What I liked
There were sparks of brilliance in the writing and the topics discussed.
What I didn't like
Stage blocking and actions by the characters not talking felt very rough. When a character went to deliver a monologue the others would just turn stoic and not react or engage with the ideas in any meaningful way until the monologue ended. Also what happened to Sawyer ? He completely disappeared and there was no mention of him after the second cut to black. I thought he died and the cast came back from his funeral but no it was the grandfathers funeral. Was Ayn Rand in the room with us?!? Felt like something out of Atlas Shrugged.
My overall impression
Oof. Felt very underdeveloped. The writing had sparks of excellence but in terms of dialogue it wasn’t natural for how people talk or listen to one another. A miss for me.
