I loved how beautifully the stories flowed together. You can tell Jesse is reliving and experiencing the tales from anger, frustration, excitement, and whimsy. The writing is engaging, and Jesse had fun playing with the audience. He looked grounded.

My overall impression
I’ve seen multiple early versions of Misery Loves Company, and witnessing the show closing night moved me to tears. Jesse is a magnificent writer, actor, and storyteller. Watching his journey, full of pathos, dark humor, and inspiration is such a treat. I’m excited to see where the show goes from here.
