I loved the story telling and brutal honesty. He painted a picture of his challenging childhood, chaotic work life, volatile relationship and eccentric lifestyle. He owned the stage. Matt’s singing voice was beautiful as well.
What I didn't like
Hydrate prior to taking the stage. Some parts of the story were a little hard to follow when he had back and forth dialog as multiple people. Maybe that’s just me being dumb.
My overall impression
Fantastic performance all around. Not for the faint of heart. Throughly entertaining and such an honest, heartfelt retelling of Matt’s life story. It opened my eyes to a whole other world I was not privy too.
