What I liked
The cast was exceptional, bringing so much energy, joy and life to this awesome musical. The songs are phenomenal!!!!!
What I didn't like
I only had one note actually, which is change the last line. It didn’t fit the rest of the show vibe to me. Other than that I literally loved every moment.
My overall impression
This is a can’t-miss show for Fringe! It’s definitely going to have a long life wherever the show travels to so come see it while it’s here in LA. Best way I can describe it is if American Idiot and Dear Evan Hansen had a musical baby. It had a perfect blend of tugging at the heart strings while making us laugh and rock out. The cast is absolutely electric and while it says it’s a staged reading, it really didn’t feel like it to me. It’s an emotional, powerful rock show that left me wanting to see it again when it comes back!
