Coca is a seasoned raconteur. He captures the seedy glamour of the Raincheck Room bar in the 60's and 70's. His glimpse of folks on the edge of Hollywood fame still rings true today. I looked up Marc Cavell, Coca's main informant on the era, who flew too close to the flame of fame.... full review
