What I liked
Coca’s ease with the audience. His reflections on Hollywood and chasing fame. I liked the slides used in the background.
What I didn't like
I had a little trouble hearing over the A/C…but you probably can’t turn that off this time of year!
My overall impression
Coca is a seasoned raconteur. He captures the seedy glamour of the Raincheck Room bar in the 60’s and 70’s. His glimpse of folks on the edge of Hollywood fame still rings true today. I looked up Marc Cavell, Coca’s main informant on the era, who flew too close to the flame of fame.
