One of the best shows I’ve seen at Fringe so far! This show is raw, guttural, honest, heartbreakingly real, all at the same time as being absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious. It’s not an easy feat to write a one hour solo show that grips you from start to finish, but “Slay Me” does just that. We begin with full blown comedy and a performance by Veronica Rosas that will have you barrel laughing. Her comic timing and chaotic charisma on stage is one helluva stand-out, and at times is even reminiscent of the great Lily Tomlin. What a powerful, bold, and deeply witty performance! It was raw and vulnerable, and honestly acknowledged the deep, dark, manic, and morbid thoughts that women of a certain age have. This show...gosh, it was AMAZING! It touched on so many themes: ageism, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues, familial relationships/trauma, loneliness, parenting... Veronica Rosas delivered an impeccable one woman show. There were twists and turns and a MAJOR plot twist in the middle that had me in utter shock. I was hooked from the beginning and clamoring for more at the end! 45 minutes wasn't enough! We need MORE!... full review

What a freaking twist! Veronica lays her soul bear with raw intense messy realness and cookie batter and yet she is simultaneously so damn funny. I actually snorted!
