Slay Me

What I liked

Veronica’s writing and performance feels playful and full of humor until it flips into a raw, honest look at life and death. It gave me the kind of catharsis theater is made for! I was so drawn in, I want to learn parts of the script myself.

What I didn't like

Nothing.

My overall impression

Slay Me is such a perfect blend of raw emotion, impeccable comedic timing, true heart, relatable breakdowns with one of the most intimate and beautifully written conversation about death I have heard from a piece of art. This show did what incredible art is meant to do and started a tough conversation with myself in a very healing manner… a personal thank you to the gifts that Veronica offered with this show.
