What I liked
Veronica Rosas was effortless in her performance and very relatable. Before the show even started Veronica was one stage in the world of the play to start getting us dialed in. I also LOVED the use of the phone calls in this solo show, it gave it a real life feeling, like another character was in the scene, verses just the character monologing.
What I didn't like
Nothing, I enjoyed the show!
My overall impression
Slay me was a dark comedy, unafraid to talk about mental health, getting older, desirability and self worth. Well written, well acted and effortlessly funny. Go check out this show!
