The adrenaline, the way I was kept on my toes the whole time, the anxiety triggers – in a positive way – the plot twists like a hit in your plexus. The text is the pretext for something even deeper, for a conversation most of us are afraid to have with ourselves. Behind the giggles and the punchlines, there was a lot of pain, a lot of accountability, but also a lot of healing which ultimately led to salvation. And don’t we all hope to be saved at the end of the day by the only person that truly counts – ourselves? BRAVO!

My overall impression
Gut wrenching performance from such a charismatic actress, Veronica is all of us (at one point in time) in Slay Me!
