The honesty and vulnerability beyond the dark comedy. Excellent script.
What I didn't like
I was unclear if the daughter was in the room with her during those VO moments.
My overall impression
Veronica Rosas delivers a hilariously raw performance in Slay Me which shines a light on the experience of women over 30. Her dark comedy elicits loads of laughs and she does not shy away from seemingly self deprecating humor. But the absolute highlight for me was the profound vulnerability in the sections where she questions her motives and deepest fears.
