What I liked
The total unpredictability of the plot. The hilarity and sometimes cringiness of the scenes. The audience involvement. And most of all, the bitter-sweetness permeating Caroline’s acting.
What I didn't like
To have been mesmerized for 30 minutes is a gift that I can’t imagine could be improved. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Caroline’s next show even tops this one.
My overall impression
Totally agree with the other reviewers. But, I realized half-way through the show that what made me laugh and cry so hard was not only the material itself, but Caroline’s vulnerability. I felt that she wasn’t acting. I felt like alternately there was a little girl and a grown woman on stage with the courage of a lioness to put herself out there with tremendous talent and wit.
