Audience interaction was wild and fun. O’Meara as both the writer and the star has a deliciously unique and engaging perspective. The play finds humor, horror, truth, and cake all in one go!
What I didn't like
I attended the preview, which is an incredibly important final component for an audience-interactive show. With that element now fully explored, this shimmering show can only shine brighter and brighter! LETHEREATCAKE.
My overall impression
O’Meara serves up a colorful collage of hilariously mismatched historical facts and personal growth in this brilliantly executed and playfully inviting piece of gory whimsy. (Don’t worry, there’s no actual gore, just great text and wild props.) We’re sucked into a world of memory, somewhere between the Museum of Jurassic Technology and a child’s playroom. If you want a true Fringe experience, this one is definitely on your list!
