What I liked
Casting was pitch perfect. The play is made up of minutes-long vignettes which lead the audience deeper and deeper into the psyche of an obsessive high school theater girl on the verge of a complete breakdown. Her co-stars help to unfurl each of her egocentric layers like an onion, revealing a raw center at the core. Doug’s writing nails what it’s like to be a teenage girl in all its wonderful gory, drama, and passions. Shayna’s direction injects the script with an energetic force that never slows down. The actors’ performances were inspired, captivating, and honest.

My overall impression
SO, so funny. I laughed… I cried… but only because it was so hilarious. The perfect depiction of a dramatic high school theater girl obsessed with revenge. An absolute must see.
