The performances were stellar. Rio Magdaleno and Amy Cosby as the young conflicted lovers were pitch perfect, hitting all the emotional highs and lows that are “relationships.” And the versatile Julie Phillips, playing all of the other characters, is dynamic and hilarious. David Beatty’s masterful direction gives this production a complex, powerful and FUN punch!

Nothing, I highly recommend it.
My overall impression
Grocery Store Romance is a fast-paced, hilarious ride that I didn’t want to end. A relatable story about meeting, falling in love, and facing obstacles, it hits all the right notes with humor and heart.
