I loved the show. The set and sound design were poignant and moving, Basement Jaxx will hit different from now on.
What I didn't like
The darkness no lights werewolf bit could have been shorter, it would better serve the ‘table’ punchline.
My overall impression
Elodie Azoulay’s gambit to their audience is that by show’s end we will have an array of distinct, albeit impractical, tools to help deal with the amorphous mess of our feelings. Elodie offers a by the numbers set of solutions, a tool belt, to deal with feelings. The hilarity of Elodie’s FEELINGS surges from the contradictions and application of their linear, and matter of fact proposals to dealing with feelings. Especially when faced with the actual complexity and even ineffable reality of feelings in real life scenarios, such as grief. A ridiculous and charming af show.
