I loved how Cindy bared her soul to us. She showed us her joys, her pain, her heartache with humor, vulnerability and unflinching honesty. Her energy is remarkable and to have an entire audience sing along with her joyfully was so much fun! If you’re a cat lover, an animal lover or appreciate that their are great souls in this world doing rescue work, this show will entertain you, move you and inspire you. Brava Cindy!!
What I didn't like
I appreciated the “talk show” component of the storyline but the videos felt over played and I would have preferred a bit more exploration into other areas of Cindy’s life that she has overcome. Ex. Mother/daughter dynamic & co-worker assault.
My overall impression
I thought A Tail of Two Kitties – Paws Across The World was a standout of the festival. One person shows are popular at Fringe Festivals and the ones that are memorable are the ones that are unique and give us, the audiences a 50 minute journey into that artist’s passions, their heart, their soul and the message they want to leave with us. Cindy D’Andrea’s did just that and so much more!
