My overall impression
The BIS certification for cotton bales in India is a mandatory certification that is required for every cotton bale manufacturer or seller. This certificate passes through quality benchmarks before entering the market. BIS standard has standard IS 12171:2019 under the quality control order issued by the Ministry of Textiles.
