I found something so incredible unique with this show that I actually had to award it a special award called the OUT OF THEBOXAWARD at a different festival because it just stood out to me as a show that feels digestible (pun intended, trust me) while also creating a thought-provoking, unique experience for both her and the audience.
What I didn't like
IDK I love this show
My overall impression
I got the chance to see the show in a workshop iteration a few months ago and found it fascinating in so many ways. And thankfully, I got the chance to catch this Fringe production, and I am so stoked. BK is reimaging the idea of processing grief — and without spoiling, it makes me laugh, makes me feel uncomfortable, and also makes me love every moment of her journey — all while processing her grief with her. Definitely a Fringe-y show worth a look!
