What I liked
Both leads were great. Great chemistry, great vocals, great performances.
What I didn't like
I think any critiques I have ultimately boil down to “this just wasn’t my thing, but a lot of people will like it.”
My overall impression
It’s interesting how already in 2025, COVID feels like another era. Yet seeing this brings back memories of it so clearly. On the whole, this is a project that’s broadly enjoyable even if it’s not my personal cup of tea. But I think it masterfully succeeds in capturing the absurdity of that era.
