What I liked
Superb acting (especially the protagonist!) with great chemistry, an absolutely unpredictable plot, and very very smart and imaginative writing. Plus so many truly hilarious jokes juxtaposed with the painful dramas and ethos and complexities of living!
What I didn't like
Sometimes the pacing and intensity of the dialogue and emotions felt a little cramped, especially as things kept escalating; I wanted a quick breather sometimes.
(I can certainly see that being the artistic choice, though, because it definitely added to the chaos!)
My overall impression
Holy heck! This is intense, completely chaotic, kind of “what the actual f—??” off the wall, but in a way that makes you resonate deeply, sometimes with painful sweetness, with the universal weirdness, complexity, and desire to love and be loved of humanity. Smashing. I absolutely recommend this show, just don’t expect to relax during ;)
