Stevie is an incredible performer, who throws her whole body and face into a character. And the characters were wholly unique: that kid at camp who tells everyone to go to sleep; a retired professional wrestler who now sells plants; a bro-y elf rebelling against his dad Legolas with a passion for basketball; Australian Love Island contestant/shipwrecked captive raised by wolves; down on her luck Midge; The Godfather on Animal Farm; and of course the incomparable Reba McIntyre. Really only Stevie could bring these characters together in one show that explores all the parts of herself – even the equine ones.
What I didn't like
I expected more horse work. Sequel??
My overall impression
Incredible character-based performance, unexpected and delightful characters, and soo many props and costumes. An hilarious exploration of identity and true-to-life horse impressions.
