What I liked
I loved hearing about Betsy’s struggle with undiagnosed ADHD – same girl – and how it manifested throughout her life before she knew it was there. It was both entertaining and heart wrenching to learn about her childhood, growing up poor and on the outside looking in, but using fantastic character work bringing her mom and stepdad to life. I feel like I knew these people I had never met. My favorite part was the bit she did about the office of mis-managed manifestations (I may have butchered the actual dialogue but that was the idea). I won’t spoil it but I loved it. Betsy is so talented, funny, and hard working, you can’t help but root for her and walk away from the show hoping to see her in more productions soon!
