What I liked
It’s clear the determination and passion these actors have for their roles, and how much fun they have with it. It was nice to see that passion come across in scenes within their performance.
What I didn't like
It felt as if the show began with such high energy, tone, and volume, that it did not have room to modify such intensity throughout the show. With such an intense performance, the pacing of the dialogue hindered the storyline’s flow.
My overall impression
As a first time viewer of this show, I can say this performance definitely left me rethinking what makes a dramady a dramady, and how this clash is great when it works and a bit awkward when it doesn’t. I found the plot to be very interesting and a nice shift away from the standard forbidden love/detective dramadies. The ecstatic energy given from the actors throughout the show was appreciated, although at times coming off a bit abrasive. Looking forward to seeing the full length show!
