What I liked

The writing was beautiful, very poetic. I loved the lighting, the color scheme and the use of sound. The actors were charming. The whole space felt like water and a crisp sea breeze.

What I didn't like

Nit picking here but I think for me where I felt a little distracted was mostly due to there not really a tech booth. Crew would get up can walk late arrivals to their seats and since it was a very quiet, intimate show sometimes it would be a second of distraction. Maybe having someone walk late arrivals from the house into the space can help relieve someone of the extra movement.

Honestly though, that is such a minor thing. I really enjoyed the show and the artistic, black box, immersive theater experience that was created.

My overall impression

A really beautiful, poetic and artistic show. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two characters. In the round theater can be tricky but overall I thought it was handle well, creating a very intimate theater experience. It’s one of those shows where I understood the overall story but would like to watch again to then dive deeper since it is a very layered experience.
