This was a completely new theatrical experience for me. The four-sided stage and the lighting and sound design created a perfectly immersive atmosphere. The two characters felt incredibly real. Their relationship and dialogue were crafted with such precision, with layers of emotional dynamics hidden in what remained unsaid during just a few exchanges. As the second half unfolded, the metaphors, poetry, plot, and conflict gradually melted into one another. It’s sure to stick with me for a long time.
What I didn't like
The poetic design inevitably led to some moments of confusion but honestly it doesn’t really bother me.
My overall impression
A beautiful piece… It captures the most delicate aspects of those inexpressible emotions in relationships with precision, then weaves them into a poetic narrative. Best show of my day at HFF!
