Erik and Pamela are both extremely charismatic performers! Their chemistry together on stage works so well as they take us through a variety of sketch, improv, clowning and physical comedy. Their “rivalry” for the “biggest” show of their lives is a fun backdrop to all their acts. In all of this it doesn’t take itself too seriously, the audience is brought along nicely to laugh and enjoy two friends making funny theater together.
What I didn't like
Maybe transition between acts could be tighter, but it also gave them fun opportunities to riff with each other. Either direction works though!
My overall impression
So fun! A ton of laughs all with the back drop of major friendship drama between Pamela and Erik. I enjoyed the physical comedy, their sketches, and the TENSION of it being the biggest show of their lives. It had all my favorite things in a fringe show, laughs I didn’t expect and DRAMA.
