What I liked
Soleil’s movement, the pace of the show, and the arc of the father character through revelation. The real life/doc style audio recordings that play throughout. The beautiful life size projections. Soliel’s mom taking tickets. My emotional release throughout, feeling taken care of by the performer, with how I was feeling, good and bad. The journey I made with the audience, felt somehow very together in the large space.

My overall impression
Get into family relationship with a clown who wants our love, who gives us reasons not to love, then brings us to love again… or not. Stunning stagecraft and media that no other show in Fringe I’ve seen does nearly so well. Also, beautiful visually and amazing sound design. One of the best, most inspiring, most complete shows this Fringe, no doubt. High Emotional Smarts from a very magnetic and vulnerable performer.
