I loved the interactive sections, and it was clear when we were and were not supposed to interact with the performance. Additionally, I was beyond impressed with the quality of movement Soleil has, and writhing over the recordings of the stories of her father were just gut-wrenching. She added so many layers to her father and herself without say anything at all.
What I didn't like
I would have loved to see some closed captions for the audio. Just couldn’t always figure out what was being said.
My overall impression
Off-beat but perfectly specific. This show will transport you seamlessly from joking around with the character to feeling suspended mid-water, leaving you emotionally whip-lashed with the actor and grappling with the bittersweet nature of loving someone who doesn’t know how to love you back- this is a MUSTSEE.
