What I liked
Beautiful stage pictures, the experimental documentary style storytelling, the intimacy, the story Soleil tells
What I didn't like
No notes on the show really, just that the audio towards the end it was a little hard to make out what the mom was saying
My overall impression
What an immersive experience. I felt like I was transported into a dream like purgatory, grappling with the very nature of complicated love. Soleil’s performance was so dropped in, so gripping and startling. I was really on the edge of my seat following the story, which was woven together with beautiful visuals and hypnotic movement. Rich and emotional, would definitely recommend!
