My overall impression
Go see Jesus Ride: a multi media tragedy, comedy, history, pastoral, pastoral-comical, historical-pastoral, tragical-historical, tragical-comical-historical-pastoral trip through Hollywood. I’ve seen it four times over the last 3 years and enjoyed all 80 (feels like 50) minutes each time. I laugh, I’m touched, and I learn something. Mike Schlitt’s personal story (his relationship with his TV writer father and his own journey making a dreadful Jesus movie) is juxtaposed against the Jewish-Christian history of Hollywood.
