What I liked
I really liked how unapologetic Venus express was. They push the boundaries on sexual tension and painful emotions. I really liked the staging and how the projections really took you to another place and time. All of the actors were very committed to their new reality.
What I didn't like
I would love to see this piece of art and story be developed further.
My overall impression
The show is an exploration of deep regret. When your life turns out to not be what you expected, and you are forced to look back and realize how precious your life was. There is a beauty in being forced to face those hard truths and Venus Express does so in a fun playful and heartfelt way. Kudos to Cristina for creating an experimental piece of art that pushes the boundaries deep into space and beyond.
