What I didn't like

I’d love to see a film version. The story is universal. If anything, the denouement could benefit from showing Abi’s character years later. How has the experience changed her, and her relationship to men? I was hoping for one more taste of the humor and wit from Act 1 to leave us with a thought-provoking way to remember her experience.

My overall impression

An incredible performance anchored in authenticity and love for theatre. Abi is a brave and welcome new voice who shines as she commands our empathy from the first moments. Laugh out loud funny, poignant, and tragically timely, I encourage anyone with good taste to see 5:45 and support Abi.

5:45 is the reason we love the theater.
