What I liked

Abi has a commanding presence on stage. Her charisma, storytelling, and impersonations are on full display as the show unfolds. The story is well written and planned. She freely shares her personality and story with the audience. This is a wonderful play and my life is richer after having seen it.

What I didn't like

NA

My overall impression

Abi bravely shares a part of her life with the audience that few would dare. Most of the play is spent fleshing out her life. Her morning routine, petty drama at work, career goals at her job, her failing relationship with her boyfriend, etc. When the dreaded “incident” occurs, I could feel that something was stolen from her. Her routine can not return to normal. It’s a powerful message and feeling, to see the changes in someone’s life and what they lose. By the end of the play I was filled with anger and sadness. Anger that someone could so selfishly take something from someone, and then sadness knowing that Abi will be going on a journey of healing.
