What I liked
writing was great and i enjoyed the way the story unfolded. i liked seeing all aspects of maya brought to life. there were so many tender beats all throughout which hit me, in a good way. also it was a tight show. i was very focused on everything abi was creating. it held my attention the entire time.
What I didn't like
i really enjoyed the pacing of the show overall. though there were a few bits of dialogue i lost or couldn’t understand in the beginning. at the end, the last lines of dialogue and the moment there was so well done, and i feel i needed a little more time with it. i may have been processing the show and that’s why, but i feel maybe a bit more time would be great for that closing moment.
My overall impression
5:45 is a phenomenal, moving, and captivating experience!! I’m in awe of Abi’s wonderful work. It’s a must see show!!!
