What I liked

It’s an intimate setting for a performance where you are drawn into a strange yet relatable world.

The universal learning and deep vulnerability strike through in a performance well punctuated by expression, humour and artistic prowess.

In a highly accomplished performance it’s the notes of constructed reality that resonate, taken simultaneously in the directions of absurd, relatable, and difficulty. There’s a blend of the topics which you immediately get, and those you need a shared understanding of connection to then understand as you experience in real time that which I hope you have not before nor will ever do.

What I didn't like

Attendees need to be respectful of the start time. In a venue and performance like this it is highly disruptive. (Posting this in case anyone else with time management difficulties reads this – it’s worth the effort of arriving early!)

My overall impression

Best 45 minutes you can sign up for. Blisteringly funny from the outset, in a way that you probably need for a show that will flick between relatability, comic distancing and the unfolding of real tragedy in the flicker of a light change.

Sounds intriguing right? This is a powerful, talented mind at work, executed with a depth of raw experience and yet translated in a highly enjoyable way.
