What I liked
I loved the specificity of her character. Everything is in the details, and Abi nailed.
What I didn't like
I thought opening the show with the actress on stage as people filed in was a VERY interesting choice. It was as if the show was in medias res. But to me, the bubble was burst when she left the stage to re-enter once the show actually started. Personally, I’d have her stay on stage the whole time and I’d lean even more into it. Not with busy work, but with the character struggling with something specific and on story. Again, I loved the idea of opening the show this way. Great job!
My overall impression
Beautifully performed by a very skilled actor made only more impressive by the fact that she also wrote it.
