5:45 is a taut and darkly comic one-woman play that follows Maya, an uptight accounts clerk whose life runs on routine. From yogurt choices to gym schedules, Maya’s days are calculated to the minute, a system she believes keeps chaos at bay.
But when a promotion and a rare night out knock her off balance, Maya’s carefully managed world begins to fracture. What unfolds is a personal reckoning with the failure of the systems she had built her philosophy.
5:45 is an honest exploration of our search for control in a turbulent and often unjust world. A portrait of a woman trying to hold herself together—and daring, finally, to let herself move forward freely.
