What I liked
One fascinating aspect of Freecell Solitaire is that most of the cards are visible from the start. Players are not simply waiting for lucky draws to rescue a bad position. Instead, they can study the layout and make decisions based on the information available.
What I didn't like
This creates a different kind of challenge. Since you can see potential moves, you also have more responsibility for choosing wisely. A move that looks brilliant at first can become the reason the entire game gets stuck later.
My overall impression
A deck of cards might not look like the ingredients for a serious mental workout, but freecell solitaire has a sneaky way of proving otherwise. The game appears calm and predictable, yet every move can influence what happens several turns later. There are no dramatic boss fights or complicated controls—just cards quietly waiting for you to make the right decision.
