The show starts at a slow pace, but by design I think. Reshma uses Tape Face Guy’s odd mannerisms and fumbling awkwardness to disarm, to rearrange our expectations and teach us how the show will develop.
Reshma’s stage presence should be bottled and sold. Clown teachers could use this show as a lesson to staying with your audience, staying simple, and committing fully. A lovely, odd gem of a show.
What I didn't like

My overall impression
A calm, silly, funny and touching clown show. Reshma’s character is off-putting, then vulnerable and appealing. He uses the superficial to unite us, and then pulls the rug out from underneath. A virtuosic feat of patience and being totally present with the audience. Reshma draws us in, and once we are in, we are hooked. The room revolves around its most awkward outsider, Tape Face Guy.
