What I liked
A challenge to the superficial depth of the question, “what’s your favorite film?” After seeing this performance, I know now, that it’s so much more than that. A simple question draws a simple answer that uncovers the humanity beneath both parties. I will forevermore wonder what my favorite movie says about me.
What I didn't like
Who is Tape Guy?? A frightfully honest monologue, turned out not to be personal whatsoever. Beneath the cinema, what have we left? It is a question I dare not ask, but pray to know.
My overall impression
This show was a patient captivation of all of my senses. There is so much mystery underneath the tape that we have yet to uncover. Tape Guy is both my dream self and the self I am afraid to be.
