What I liked
The costuming immediately invokes the atmosphere of the show: feeling like an alien in a sea of strangers. Soon, we’re not strangers anymore. We get to laugh at our own social awkwardness and breathe into our shared humanity. Not only do we get to fall in love with tape guy, but we get to fall in love with everyone in the room.
What I didn't like
I wanna slow dance with tape guy.
My overall impression
Reshma welcomes us into a portal where we all get to sit back, relax, and laugh at the absurdity of being a human just trying to have a conversation. She is a master improviser, picks up on everything in the room, and we are pulled into a warm, weird, transporting cocoon of a party. I laughed the entire time and fell in love with tape guy. I left feeling loved <3
