What I liked
There were interactions that blossomed and were delightful to watch as Tape Guy volleyed back and forth with audience members. I also loved the physical comedy in our party prologue — gotta love clown werk; now with tape!
What I didn't like
There were moments where I was unsure what Tape Guy wanted from the audience. Abruptly moving on from a conversation felt right for the character of course, but the rules of how much info or conversation from the general population Tape Guy wanted wasn’t clear. I thought Reshma shined most when those conversation started rolling and provided wonderful variation within the piece.
My overall impression
Charmingly awkward. Can’t wait to see what Reshma delivers next.
