What I liked
Great entrance. Great exit. What a fun game of leaving and then being pulled back in.
I love the game of “I’d better be making my rounds.”
“Sweating my face off” was a fabulous line because it worked on both levels (actor & character). So funny.
I loved the “No one’s ever asked me that before.” What a fabulous turn and would love to see that game develop and repeat.
What I didn't like
I’m curious to see what will be discovered and develop out of this run!
I didn’t love seeing him take his hand off. I wonder if there is a way to do the “phone number” bit without having to break his body off like that.
My overall impression
Great show full of playfulness! At its core is a simple ice-breaker question that is made funny by Reshma’s special ability to thoughtfully respond to an audience. In that way, this show reminded me of Julia Masli’s “hahahaha.” This character has a strange and enjoyable comedic rhythm that made him (?) easy to watch and trust. Afterwards, you have something to talk about with your fellow attendees. Big recommend!
