A calm, silly, funny and touching clown show. Reshma's character is off-putting, then vulnerable and appealing. He uses the superficial to unite us, and then pulls the rug out from underneath. A virtuosic feat of patience and being totally present with the audience. Reshma draws us in, and once we are in, we are hooked. Wow. Reshma is an absolute presence on stage. She is locked in from the moment she enters, so present, calm and focused. Not to mention, hysterical. This character makes you want to cry and laugh at the same time. There's something so deeply beautiful about an awkward man.
