What I liked
As a millennial who was raised on the attitude era of WWE, I loved the analogy and use of that throughout the show. It was hilarious but even more than that—I think it makes it fun and more approachable for people (particularly men) who may struggle to get in touch with their emotions.
What I didn't like
The cordless mic went out but Adam handled it like a pro (probably bc he genuinely used to be a pro audio engineer as we all learned..I would have just spent the rest of the show screaming my vocal cords out if that were me). Otherwise, I thought it was just awesome from top to bottom.
My overall impression
5 stars!! This show was incredible! Raw, funny, and Adam found such a unique and relatable way to talk about a big and heavy topic. Great pop culture references sprinkled in and very cool to see something vulnerable that was able to stay light enough that people could really take it in without being overwhelmed by the content.
Incredible callbacks, wonderful story. A perfect combo of silliness and sentiment.
