Great ensemble bringing fresh life to beloved characters. Shakespearean adaptation was excellent.
What I didn't like
I was worried that a modern adaptation of John Hughes would be cringeworthy like some of the movies are now and while the cast did a great job updating, there’s no getting around that some of it is still on the problematic side. But still, it was a very affectionate adaptation that hit on the most important parts of the story – accepting oneself and others and getting past the labels that high school life assigns.
