What I liked

Great concept, well executed.

What I didn't like

At points, the cuts between scenes seemed a little abrupt, could be smoother.

My overall impression

Great show! We had so much fun, lots of laughs from the audience. The cast each truly embodied their classic on-screen personas, but with unique Shakespearean twists. They’re clearly having fun with the act, creating a vibrant and joyful performance that draws in the audience. Some personal key highlights were Andrew’s surprisingly acrobatic dance and monologue, and Bender’s overall hilarity throughout the show, but all of the main cast were excellent without exception, along with the principal and janitor who kept the audience impressively engaged.

Costumes were a fun mix of medieval mods to 80s high schooler garb, with Claire’s and Andrew’s standing out, in particular. The chainmail addition to the varsity jacket was a hoot!

The set design is also to be applauded, it’s creative with cast and crew making novel use of moving set pieces to effectively embody different areas of the school.
