A visceral and relatable slice of life – the setting may be grand, but the experience is one we can relate to, no matter where we are in the world. This is a terrific addition to the Fringe Festival line up!
What I didn't like
Nothing to share here – Loved every moment!
My overall impression
We went into Elemeno Pea – open and ready to relax a night away from the long week ~ Knowing nothing of the storyline – it arrived through the French doors like a divine tart – unexpectedly sharp, luscious in the dialogue, and with each moment, waiting for the next witty bite! We laughed out loud, for the characters are people we know, but may not love – but we definitely know!
All the actors – Alex Polcyn, Emma Milani, Ella Thomas, Issac Anthony and Lily Johns each embody their characters to a tee. This audience member wanted to jump up and join the characters to spill the rest of the tee that may be coming, but slay, it’s not what you expect and it’s wonderful! Director Jeffrey Marcus must have had fun with this esemble – it surely shows if so!
