The character of “Ethan” is an absolute delight and the perfect comic relief from the growing tension created by the devolving relationships of the characters… same goes for the drole vitriol of “Jos-B”. The Sisters “Simone and Devan” navigate what could be well worn sibling trope with deft lightness and then Michaela broke the audiences hearts with an elegance and strength that made her pain all the more gut wrenching.
What I didn't like
The pacing was a little slow at the start but did pick up. There seemed to be some technical issues but nothing that derailed the performances. Some of the dialogue got lost at times by being either too low or too loud.
My overall impression
You’ll be moved to laughter and to tears by this fantastic ensemble. Their effervescent chemistry keeps you engaged as they bring Molly Smith Metzler’s play to life with originality and zeal.
